We checked out Ebey's Reserve on Whidbey Island and found Crocket's blockhouse. It was built in the year 1857. Colonel Crocket participated in the War of 1812 and served in the Virginia Legislature.
We hiked down to the falls, a short hike and it was gorgeous!
This was Mt. Rainier yesterday. It was overcast down below in the city but as we went up the mountain above the clouds the view was wonderful. It was the first of our Americana adventures.
